Glass – More Importantly, Clear Glass

The exact origin of glass is unknown, but it is believed to have been discovered around 3500 BCE in Mesopotamia, Egypt, or Syria. The earliest glass objects were beads and small vessels made by winding molten glass around a core of sand and clay.
